What is stone carpet?

Also called stone carpet, stone carpet is a decorative surface primarily intended for outdoor use. It can be used to enhance pedestrian walkways, patios, driveways, and pool surrounds. The average thickness is 8-10 mm.

Very easy to install, stone carpet is accessible to everyone, even those with limited DIY skills. The mixture, consisting of aggregates (2-5 mm rounded marble chips) and resin, is applied with a trowel to a clean, sound surface such as a concrete slab.

The resin is specially formulated to resist yellowing from UV exposure. For areas with light vehicle traffic, it is recommended to apply a sealant to unify the surface.
