How to Use Hardeners?

Hardeners must be applied to fresh concrete that has been previously smoothed.

They are sprinkled in a very thin layer (approximately 2 mm), evenly over the entire surface to be treated.

They must then be worked into the concrete surface by smoothing them with a magnesium trowel to bring the laitance to the surface.

There are several types of colored hardeners or colored quartz.

Their composition varies to best suit the desired application method.
